The New Features of T-Rac’s Posse: Commenting System and News Feed

Just so you know, a couple weeks ago we silently launched a couple of new features at T-Rac’s Posse to see how they held out. As it has turned out, both features have withstood the test of time and we are now announcing them. Here they are:

  1. The New Commenting System – Our new Commenting system, powered by Intense Debate, allows the commenter to register as a member of T-Rac’s Posse. You then can collect a “Rep” score, which is the composite score of all your comments. We have launched a list of the top commenters of T-Rac’s Posse on the sidebar. Some other features include being able to embed YouTube clips directly into the comments and to create your own polls directly into the comments. Another sweetass feature allowed in this new commenting system is the ability to sign in under your  Twitter account. You can also upload your own picture to go with your profile.
  2. T-Rac’s Posse News Feed – Up on the Navbar you will see a button titled “Titans News”. On that page we have a little google gadget that lists the T-Rac’s Posse Titans News Feed and all the items. You can click on these and read a brief synopsis of the story, and also the link to the full story is provided. This news feed consists of a collection of the top Titans News items of the day pulled from several different sources including the Tennessean, ESPN, and some other Titans news sources. There is a link that will take you to the main page of this T-Rac’s Posse Titans news feed that will allow you to add this news feed to any page you want or import into any RSS reader. It can be loaded into Google, Yahoo, Facebook, your own website or blog, and many other places for you to have and be updated on the most current Titans news.

Hope you all enjoy the new features here at T-Rac’s Posse. Hopefully, we will have more in the not too distant future. We have a few projects on hand we are working on to make the already fantastic and exciting experience of T-Rac’s Posse even better.
